Pamela Sausaitis is a dedicated Senior Law Clerk at JLC & Associates, currently awaiting admission to the New York State Bar. With a robust foundation in transactional real estate and a keen legal acumen, Pamela is poised to make significant contributions in her field.

Before attending law school, Pamela accumulated a decade of experience in various aspects of transactional real estate, including financing, condominium development, commercial real estate, and corporate law. She began her career as a paralegal at a real estate law firm in White Plains, New York, focusing on financing. Pamela’s career continued to flourish at JLC & Associates, where she played a key role in developing and managing the firm's banking department and provided support in real estate transactions by conducting due diligence and contract negotiation. She later shifted her focus to condominium development and commercial transactions.

In 2021, Pamela began her legal education at New York Law School. Her academic journey was marked by notable achievements, including receiving the NYLS Board of Trustees Scholar award during admission and membership to the Deans Leadership Council. At law school, Pamela interned with the Honorable Kathleen Waterman-Marshall at the Supreme Court of New York City, served as a Senior Editor for the Family Law Quarterly, an ABA and NYLS law journal, and was an active member of the Legal Association for Women. Additionally, Pamela mentored lower-level students through two organizations, demonstrating her commitment to fostering the development of future legal professionals.

Pamela’s dedication to the legal field is further demonstrated through her pro bono work with the Cyberharassment Clinic, where she defended individuals against crimes of harassment and stalking, involving the use of technology. She also advocated for legislation involving technology focusing on protections for children and the LGBTQ+ community.

Pamela is set to join JLC & Associates as an Associate following her bar admission.

Outside of her professional life, Pamela enjoys spending time with with her husband and two daughters. She is an enthusiastic supporter of Broadway musicals, enjoys exploring the vibrant life of NYC, and relaxing at the New Jersey Shore.
